Laduree Japan

Merry Christmas everyone, hope you are having a jolly and warm Christmas wherever you are! For the past two years I have spent my Christmas and New year overseas with the family. I gladly chose Japan as my destination this year. Japanese are known for their appreciation for all things dainty and exquisite, its no surprise that I find Laduree cafes, cosmetic and accessory counters in main areas like Ginza and Shinjuku. As a sweet treat, macaroon is not everyone's cup of tea but I love the nostalgic and immaculate feeling I get with every bite.

This time I stopped by the Laduree cafe in Lumine II, Shinjuku, it is located in a small corner with limited seats. I would say visit the branch in Ginza if you wish to get proper seats.

Some novelty shopping bags being sold at the Laduree counter makes a gift that none can say no to. I am particularly showing keen interest in the make up case and cotton scarves (available in the department stores). Wouldn't it be lovely to giveaway one on here too?
