Last Sunday I popped in Miu miu's to check out the end of season sale. Seriously, for the past year, it has been my most visited store. Perfect dusty pink walls, bags in every pastel shade (is this heaven?) and to be greeted by my favorite sales assistant. So I might be a tinny bit bias due to the amount of pink going on in there. A little glitter booties came home with me (that alone deserves a picture heavy post right?), I was even surprised it made it through the later days of the sale. Half size bigger than what I normally wear, but there is nothing a booties cannot hide. Next to it was a louder gold glitter heels, which inspired today's DIY tutorial. I might be far off the timeline of 'glitterfiying' my entire wardrobe but look what I found! A similar shape for a closer to real deal, final product. Glitter, brush and mod podge will cost you at most 10 dollars, the holy grail goes to the plain Mary Janes of your choice.

These Mary Janes from Asos share the cloest resembelences with the Miu miu's, not forgetting the sneaky hidden platform. Definitely worth checking them out!
If you insist on creating the infamous 'banana heels', A Matter Of Style recently did a tutorial on it using simple materials. I never thought the fun heel shape can be easily created. One of the best quality DIY tutorial out there, in my opinion.
